As-Sunnah Masjid and Madrasa is conceived as a contemporary religious institute that blends spiritual calm with urban presence. The architectural concept is rooted in Islamic values of light, order, and learning, translated through modern form-making. The massing is generated as interlocking volumes that separate yet connect prayer, education, and community functions around a central courtyard, ensuring clarity and hierarchy. Vertical elements emphasize spiritual aspiration, while bridges and terraces promote interaction. The exterior façade combines perforated screens, geometric patterns, and warm material tones to filter light, control climate, and create visual depth. Overall, the aesthetic balances solidity and transparency, presenting a dignified, modern landmark that resonates with both tradition and its Dhaka context.
